• What counts as a store location?

  A store location is a distinct physical retail outlet with its own till records and carrier settlement activity. If you operate two franchises at separate addresses, that counts as two locations. A single store with multiple POS terminals is one location. The plan tier limits apply to the total number of active locations connected to your Unsoft account.

• Can I upgrade from Starter to Operator mid-cycle?

  Yes. You can upgrade at any time. The change takes effect immediately and the billing difference is prorated for the remainder of the current billing period. Historical settlement data and all existing flags carry over without interruption. Downgrading from Operator to Starter requires that you have three or fewer active locations connected at the time of downgrade.

• Is there a trial period before committing?

  All plans include a 14-day free trial. During the trial you have full access to the settlement, staffing, and reporting modules for your connected locations. No credit card is required to start. At the end of the trial period you can choose a plan or let the account lapse with no charge. We do not auto-enroll you.

• What happens to my data if I stop using Unsoft?

  You can export all your settlement history, gap records, and staffing data at any time from the reporting module. If you close your account, your data is retained for 90 days and available for export on request. After that period it is deleted from Unsoft's systems according to our data retention policy.

• Is annual billing available?

  Annual billing is available on the Starter and Operator plans at a 15% discount compared to the monthly rate. Annual plans are billed in full at the start of each annual period. If you switch from monthly to annual, the remaining days of your current monthly period are credited toward the annual invoice. Enterprise contracts are quoted annually by default.
